Well I guess you better give back your vision then. Even though it was made here in the good old USA some of the parts are not and was outsourced from other country's.. Just sayin..

Posts: 548 Mount Vernon, WA United States | I have a size 8.5 long oval head and it fits me. As with all of our products in our store we go for Quality and then affordable. When it comes to garments that answer rarely is Made in USA. These hats are a high quality hat made in China and the embroidery (the important part) was done by a company in Arizona. The best of both worlds if you will. |

Posts: 118 Spfld, IL but temp Bay area, CA | One can usually find 'Made in the USA' hats and tshirts at very competitive prices. I know, I used to be a rep for the IBEW and was responsible for ordering tshirts and sweatshirts with the Local's # and the International's logo. Personally, I will pay more for any quality item still 'Made in the USA'. |

We had a 270 Billion dollar trade deficit with China last year.
Ten years ago it was 60 Billion and everyone was outraged.
I guess they weren't outraged enough to quit buying from the Chinese.

Posts: 849 , FL United States | I'm somewhat of a ball-cap expert, having acquired literally dozens of them over the years. I have MLB and NFL caps that are well made but were VERY pricey. I have many "souvenir" caps and some are good and some not-so-good. Some are US made but the majority are made elsewhere.
I just received the V-R cap in the mail today and it is one of the best caps I own (even through it was made in China). The cap itself is very well made and the stitching is some of the best I've ever seen. Well worth the $.
BTW Our accessories and apparel SHOULD be the best quality available because we ride the best luxury touring motorcycle made !! :-) |

125,000 Chinese men, women and children were executed (best term) for helping less than 80 Doolittle raiders after their attack on Tokyo as part of the revenge for Pearl Harbor. So make sure you have NO Jap products in your possession. Let's see you pull that one off.

Posts: 160 Camas Washington | Is the brim stiff were it stands up and you look like a dork from the 70s or does the cap (brim) soft and lays down along the contour of your head? |
|
|
|
Fountain Inn, SC United States | Not sure if you mean the visor. The visor is pre-formed into the arc but can be sculpted into more of an arc or flattened out. The actual cap is soft, not "stiff" (ala '1970s'?) and will take the shape of your head. So you won't look like a dork unless of course you already look like a dork.

Craig - sorry it took so long, Miles must have gotten sidetracked, he's currently trying to start up a small business. He usually fills orders pretty quickly.
Both Miles & I get emails to webmaster at vision-riders.com but I let him answer merch queries. If you don't get a response, send me an email directly (Jeff at vision-riders). Thanks for your patience!

Posts: 2 Tucson, AZ | Greetings:
I just ordered my cap because I ride a Vision, and I think it's a great looking cap,... period. Thank you for making them available for us to purchase.
As far as the Made in China thing,... if I have a choice,... I'll take the Made in USA over the Made in China every day!! Trouble is,... often a person does not have a choice.
The outsourcing should have been stopped decades ago, when it was still a very small percentage. Now-a-days, it's not a small percentage,... it's practically the majority, in every case. Sad.

BTW- love the vision riders window decal. But this ones to larger for my trucks back window. I have a slider window and a 10"x 5" decal would work perfect. Is there anyway to get one this size? |

| Anybody want to buy my Cap?
It is brand new, never worn.
I don't know about these guys who claim to have a size 8-1/2 head and the cap fits them fine???
I've got a 7-3/4 head and the cap sits on top of my head so high, I could wear it to temple.
Too bad because it's a nice looking hat.

| I thought the ball cap would be better quality and more like a baseball cap. Not some sloppy cap with no shape.

I assume you are talking about Victory hats and not the Vision-Rider ball cap that is the topic of this thread. The Vision-Rider hat is a great quality cap and keeps it shape quite well. Sizing has not been an issue except for those with extremely large head size, there's plenty of adjustability.

Oh I see what you are talking about now. Yes, the Vision-Riders hat is a different style than the Victory hat. It's not meant to be stiff like that. Sorry if you got that impression. The VR hat is not, however, crap. Sorta like calling a Mustang crap cuz you thought it was a Camaro. I've had mine longer than anyone and it's stood the test of time without fading and still fits, looks & wears fine.

Posts: 752 Broken Arrow, OK | It is an interesting fit. I tried it on and never wore it again. Be aware, the photo in the merch section looks like the hat stands up kind of on its own. Not so. It does not retain any shape until its on your head.
Anyone wants it, PM me and paypal me 6 bucks to cover the small size USPS flat rate priority mailer box and it's yours. Sorry, no Canuck shipping. Lower 48 only. |
