| I purchased a 2720 from a guy that had them as surplus from the Superbowl. It was hardly used and I ended up purchasing it for $200.00 so your price seems about right. |

| Just bought one new online for 263.00. That was with 2 day shipping. Did the install last night. Going to test it this morning. Looks great on the bike. Now all I need is the Victory decal that goes on it to look like a dealer install. I like the fact I'll be able to use it in the truck also. |

| Question here:
Since you guys are buying a strictly Garmin product, not Garmin produced for Victory, where did you get the cable to integrate the GPS unit into the Vision's audio system? I can't use the AUX feature as I have my iPod (with the iPod cable) hooked up to that connection. |

From what I understand, the newer 2820 mounts and interfaces identically, and provides the capability for a memory card to hold MP3 tunes, pictures, etc., as well as bluetooth capability if you have bluetooth intercom in your helmets, or wish to pair it with a bluetooth cell phone. The 2820 is quite a bit more expensive (around 2X), so unless these features are really attractive to you, the newer model may not be worth the extra price of admission. |

So, if I just purchase the mounting kit I will get the cable, is that what you are saying here? I have a Zumo 550 that I want to hook up, I can handle changing plugs to the kit cable for both power and audio, I just need to get the cable. My dealer thought the cable only came when you bought the complete GPS unit from Victory. I plan on using the chrome RAM mounting system to give me the adjustability that I prefer, with the install done in the same fashion as the pictures that were posted of the RAM system in the gallery. |
