I have to agree, there will be no line crossing between Victory and Indian, technology, ergo, and those things yes, styling, no. 6 more happy days for everyone to finally sigh. Remember the hype of the Highball, cool bike, a slight departure, but only a very small target audience. Also, remember the Vision, big hype, the cult following by the few, but it now just quietly plugs along. It'll probably be a bad-boy Cross bike...

I doubt a large touring bike is going to have spokes and bias ply tires...

I predict a Cafe style bike with a new engine size based on the Core.

It going to be around 500 pounds and have 100 HP.

My 2 cents..

With the success of the High Ball and Cross Country, the easiest new model to introduce would be a Crossroads with the High Ball treatment. I would call it a High Road(s). Is mother VIC becoming predictable?

I suspect it is predominately a HighBall reskinned without the ape hangers. Something minimalist aimed more at poor economy market, with retro styling. I kinda expect it to have a Victory/Indian hybrid appearance.

I think the vision-rider member that guesses the new model correctly should win a free one from Victory! (provided they sign a waiver to never again post guesses on subsequent new model intro's ;>)

I think this is the year, and the model that Victory will experience an even greater growth. With Gunny, Klockwerks, and Ness' continued promotion, and the fact 1%ers are moving to Victory it may come hard and fast.

1%ers? Seriously?

Are buyers of $23k motorcycles supposed to think of that association as a "feature", or perhaps a "benefit"?

I'll bet there must be a whole boat load of Vision Riders who are personally looking forward to the day that police departments start thinking of a Vision (or any Victory) as just another element of "Gang Indicia". (HEAVY SARCASM)

If that demographic prediction is a reality, I guess it wont be long before I have to seriously give BMW or Guzzi another look.

wow, geeze, uh, the demog of bikers are diversed, but where the "biker" get its start? With a bunch of Wingers returning from the war?

My point being is that Victory motorcycles, particularly the Vision and the Cross bikes and transending the spectrum. Yes, association is a driving force for buyers of motorcycles, it sure ain't for practability.

Didn't even have to use my crystal ball. I like the name "High Road" better. I guess it is called a Hard Ball because it has the hard bags. Vic should have put the soft bags on it and dropped the price a grand. It would have looked a little more "old school classic" to go with the blacked out theme.

I at first was dissappointed, but then I thought really how could anyone improve enough things to bring out a new bike that was better than the Vision. Sure they could have made the bags more roomier, add this or that, but being unable to add a new full size tour bike into the market that would or could out do what I call the perfect bike! just my 2 cents worth.
