so.md. | no biggy but does anyone else experience a whistling in windshield? It usually happens when breezy. It's just a little nerve wracking. maybe new pipes are needed to muffle it. thanks for any input. |

Michigan | Never noticed it on mine. Of course I got it at the end of October so I only got 1000 miles in it before putting it away for the winter. I did have plenty of windy days to ride in though. Loose trim under the windshield? |

Mt. Vernon, WASH. | It might not be the windshield but whatever is making the noise could be reflected by the noise bouncing off the windshield. Have you had any bits and pieces off recently? If yes, start there and follow the panel seams. Have you checked all the panel alignments and gaps? Having spent a lots of hours being pressurized inside commercial airliners doing post check functional tests I know from experience you'll never hear whats called a 'long leak' like a foot or so of misaligned door seal whereas a 'balloon leak' or 'squeeker' will drive you nuts hunting it down. The 'squeker' is irrritating but the long leak affects cabin pressurization. It comes down to basic, patient, detail oriented inspection until you find the source. If you know the speed when the noise happens, that's a great starting place, do some visual checks, maybe tweek some plastic and go run it around the block. Basic detective work and some dillegence will cure the problem and you'll know your bike more intimately in the bargain. |

Tucson, AZ | Yep I also get with the windshield up and cruising at 80 plus...I just turn the music up as loud as it goes and keep on riding....

Willmar, MN | Mine started whistling after putting on a new windshield. Taped the bottom with electrical taped and cleared it right up. |
