Posts: 63 Calgary, AB, | For those in northern climes, who'll not be riding for several months, what are your thoughts re jacking the Vision up on a stand for the non riding months, vs just leaving it on the floor on its side stand.
Any benefit to having it elevated and "unloaded" on tires, suspension etc during this idle period? |

See no benefit to the tires, modern tire compounds don't acquire 'flat' spots, and it's not likely you have the tires in service long enough for any 'rot' issues. As for the suspension, it was designed to hold the bike up. |

Modern tires aren't like the old NYLON ones of 45 years ago, they don't 'flat spot' from sitting, it shouild be just fine as is- |

accidently open a car door into it.If that happened she'd be banned from parking in the garage in the winter lol.

No benefit keeping it on the jack. the reason i done it on other bikes were i was doing winter projects to that motorcycle. keeping a bike for a few months on its tires will Not hurt it.. i have a friend that has a motorcycle in storage for Years and it didnt put flat spots on the tires.. |

Posts: 82 Fargo, ND | I keep mine on a tripod dolly (bike rides on 3 multidirectional wheels) I got it at Harbor freight tools for $79.00 on sale. Best $79.00 I ever spent. I can push the bike in any direction in the garage all winter long so It takes up much less space. And I can get to my table saw without pushing the bike outside.
