Posts: 249 Phenix City AL. | Here is what I have come up with thus far, they mount using a longer bolt, going through the passenger floor board and mount and my mounts, you have to drill one hole in your floor board mount, whitch is behind the stock floor board mount. This is a sturdy set up, I used a 4inch extention from my mount to the full size peg, I can put my foot down, with out the extention interfering, but backing up the extention gets in the way, I did try a stepped extention, and it worked a lot better. I am working on a mounting set up that will allow the extention and peg to fold back as one unit. Any interest in the set up ? the mount itself will be around $100.00, you will have to provide your own extention and pegs, A lot of options to choose from.

Posts: 249 Phenix City AL. | Yes the pajamas, my teenager was lounging around, so I put her to work LOL. An update, the pegs will swing in, right after I posted I went to the shop, to figure out what would look good and work, the fed ex truck pulled up with a package, with some parts I ordered, they were wrong for what I wanted them for, I set them on the bench right next to the passenger mounts, and what do you know , just what I needed. I will post pics later. |

Posts: 249 Phenix City AL. | passenger higway folding pegs, I have completed my project. If I make these for sale, the will have 2 1/2 inch chrome foot peg extentions, it will look cleaner than my home made extention, and work better. I still have to talk to my fab. shop, and get a price to make them, I dont have the time to make them myself. My goal is to offer the mounts for $100.00 painted, $130.00 powder coated, package with every thing but the pegs for $170.00, or the whole set up pegs included $210.00. For $300.00 I will include the front passenger mounts and pegs to match. The price sound high, but getting them made and all the stuff to complete the set up cost $$, plus the time and money to R and D. So who wants them ?
I would like to thank my wife and kids, for having patients, and letting me spend time on this project.

Posts: 249 Phenix City AL. | almost complete. I made the extention that the long shift peg attaches too. I used the long shift peg, for the simple factor, not as bulky as a regular peg , but does the same job. You could however use any peg you want, some nice ness, advon, or some pegs some of the vendors are making.

Posts: 1117 Northeast Ohio | Just got done installing the brackets and pegs. I decided to go with Rivco black pegs to blend into the black on the bike. My wife is only 5'3", so she didn't need any more extension than what the JB.Hatch bracket already provides.
I am going to put a black nut cap on the top to cover the nut. Also, another mounting option would be to tap the hole you need to drill so you can just thread the bolt through it.
