My question;

Is there in fact a plug, at or near the right side taillight area, that accepts a trailer 4-way plug for running lights, directionals, and brake lights for a trailer???

If not, do I need to connect into the wiring under the seat with some "tap-it" connectors, the same way I did for the led lights I already have for brake and directionals?

Thanks for anyone's help

ps: how do I make the font stay larger in these blogs??

My '08 does not have a plug as standard. I tapped into the wires under the seat with a Reese plug.

My '08 Vision didn't have a plug. I had to wire one for my trailer. The best advice is to wire the trailer with an isolator in to the circuit.

This step will make sure that anything in the trailer will not affect the bike's electronics of the computer that runs the whole works!

I did that in '08, and haven't had a problem since then!

If the trailer has LED lights, no isolator needed. If incandescent bulbs, definately take Baddog's advice.

If you look in my picture gallery you will see a tap in harness I made up to put in the harness so when you tap into the wires you are not taping into the factory wiring.
