| How many have the stage 1 with pipes, filter and download. Give a review on the ups and downs of this mod package......Does the download work? |

| I can't give you the ups and downs because the test bike I rode had the stage 1 level 1 already installed. I couldn't imagine taking delivery of a bike with less power just coming off a 05 Hammer. So, I had them install same on my bike before taking deivery. I will tell you that for a bike that weights close to 900 pounds with a full tank of gas. It can haul my 265lbs fairly well. Even when riding two up it handles the load with ease. I haven't seen or heard a Vision with the stage 1 level 2 so can't give you any thoughts on that setup. All I know is I don't think I would like this bike as much without the little bump in horsepower. |

| Mine definately woke up a little with the stage1. Lloyds plate made it wake up again, equally. Mine does not backfire or any bad stuff like I have read. I lost a minute amount of mpg form the stage1. My only complaint is lack of loud. I guess I was expecting about the same level of sound as my stage1 92" Kingpin had. But the S1L1 on the Vision is not too much louder than stock...I am sure when an aftermarket exhaust gets developed, I will sell my stage1 slip ons and get more noise... |

Posts: 29 Strongsville, Ohio | I ordered my Midnight Cherry Premium with Stage 1 Level 1 pipes from my local dealer. To my surprise, when they delivered the bike to me it had Stage 1 Level 2 pipes on it. Apparently their service guy grabbed the wrong pipes off the shelf. Dealer said it was a gift for me. These pipes have Victory Performance lettered into the sides near the rear.
The Level 2 pipes are one piece, they don't use the OEM chrome heat sheilds. I am not having any problems with popping on the decel (so far) or carbon soot leakage between the outer cover and the inner sleeve as others have mentioned with their Level 1 Stage 1's.
On the showroom floor, I heard the Level 1 Stage 1 pipes running. I was pleased with the sound over the factory pipes. But the Stage 2's are an improvement in idle rumble and acceleration rumble. I am very pleased with the overall sound of my Vision.

I'm hoping to hear them side by side and ride on a Vis w/ Lvl 1 and Lvl 2 before making up my mind on which to do...
Mama wants the rumble,... but if Lvl 1 is barely louder than stock.,.. what's the point? |

Posts: 136 CALGARY ALBERTA | I found the stage one a good upgrade and very economical compared to the same on an HD. The power is better through all of the ranges. The sound is pleasant to me but not those left behind by the Vision.
