Ok I know we probably beat these poor mirrors to death, buy why can't they design a mirror similar to these? This is the best of both worlds... a slightly convex main mirror + a wide-angle mirror built in without the stupid looking stick-ons from Wally-World!

My daughter's new 2012 Ford Focus has that style of side mirrors.
I like them.
I do have the stick-on mirrors in my Vision.

Damn. Now that's nice. I wish they would just make regular mirrors. You know, not the ones that say "Images are closer than they Appear"

That would require thinking beyond the end of your nose, stepping over the side of the proverbial box, putting the paradigm into second gear, having a severe attack of clear thinking....should I go on?? OOPS! I forgot the age and mind set in which I currently reside.

I'm sure most Vision owners would be interested in a set of mirrors like the Ford Focus shown above. I have the Wally World stick-ons and hate the looks of them, but they do help. Looks like a great opportunity for an aftermarket company.

I'm not sure what you all aren't seeing in your stock mirrors. I am able to see way more than I ever could on my Kingpin & feel very safe with them. In fact when my local dealer has the Vic Demo Days, that is often the first thing I notice when jumping on another bike, is how small the mirrors are & feel really "closed-in". I also make a habit of scanning my mirrors often enough to know what car is coming around me next when traveling a divided highway so there is never a surprise.

The problem with the stock mirrors; is that you cannot see directly behind you. And that is the very spot where a oncoming car could accelerate rapidly and cream your azz at a stoplight; if you don't have the bike canted in such a way where you are able to see directly behind you with the mirrors.

I still have the rear view camera outfit that I bought; haven't mounted it yet. Still plan to sometime this winter. It'll help.

I have no issue with the stock mirrors EXCEPT that they are the distortion type and hence read "OBECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" I would much prefer to have NORMAL mirrors on the Vision. As for seeing behind you, the only time I really need to see behind me is when I am stopped at a light, stop sign, etc. And unless you are stopped in the MIDDLE OF THE LANE, you should not have a problem seeing people pulling up behind you. And if you do stop in the MIDDLE OF THE LANE, you are in the WORST SPOT in your lane.......yup, the worst spot, right where every cager drops his oil. And I for one don't like having oil on my tires.

Actually, even riding in the middle of your lane is dangerous. Not only will your tires pick up oil left behind by leaking cagers, but it will also be harder for other traffic to see you in many circumstances.

While the points are all something to consider it has no relation to the OP about the ford mirrors on the vision. It would seem with a little bit of craft working one could adapt the ford focus mirrors to the vision if one had the time and money to do so. As for little sticky convex mirrors on my vision or any other vehicle I own, not on your life. My wife put on one of those hideous stupid little things on the jeep and it aggrevated the daylights out of me. It finally, and conveniently it fell off on a hot-summer day, ooooops, (sorry honey) but the residue still taunts me today....

oh, if you can't see directly behind you then you may need to adjust the mirrors. The space that I cannot see, not even a Smart car couldn't hide in it. Yes, I can see in the opposing lanes as well.

I agree you can't see directly behind you if adjusted so you get a good look othe cars coming up on the two lanes beside you. I got two of the Mirrors at Campers World and had them chrome plated at www.grace-fx.com.  I put a picture of them in the gallery under the name of Rick Farrar. I will try to add a picture here

I, like some others, do not have any problems with the mirrors on my Vision ..Adjusted properly they are as good as any motorcycle mirror I have ever used...I know and accept there is always danger from the rear, but riding or driving in todays world is risky anyhow....Just be as aware of your surroundings as possible and hopefully all will be well....I am sure the Victory engineers did not design a mirror/fairing that was dangerous in the first place...Maybe for some they disagree, but I have no issues with the mirrors........

Or perhaps I'll just say on the couch and look at my VV8. Yea, that's the ticket. Yea, that would be safer!

If you don't like the convex "Objects Are Closer Than They Appear" type mirror glass you can stop at any local auto glass shop and they can cut "normal" non-convex style mirror glass that will fit perfectly. And it would be fairly cheap price wise.

If you install the 2 inch back and 1 inch up bars, your hands end up directly in the middle of the mirrors making it almost impossible to see anything.

I just want to make sure that car behind me at the lites, Etc. is not the local sheriff without turning around to look. Vision mirror can't be set for good changing lane vission & rite behind you. IMHO, think it has to do with the length of you back & the length of arms, probably your neck too. Works for some & some it don't. Guess we are all different!
