Victory has asked that I let you know of a new page on their site.
http://www.polarisindustries.com/en-us/Victory-Motorcycles/sweepsta...

I think that coincides with the NYC IMS event.

Looking at the fuzzy picture from the Victory email I got today, it definitely is not a Vision. Too small.

Looking at the enhanced photo and scrutinizing the fender ornament and some other retro styling cues it appears to be a cross between an Indian and a steel framed Vegas. Maybe even a modern rendition of an Indian. Just saying.

Just a thought I had while reading this thread.....Does Polaris have an engine in a sled or ATV that they would be able to put in a street bike? I know that sleds these days have alot of power.

I guess I am going to have to research their other vehicles to see what powers them.

The 900 found in the RZR XP makes 89HP@6600 and gobs of torque right from the bottom. Does not hurt that it a light weight DOHC engine that sounds NASTY with a good pipe

Thats a fun looking machine! Emission regs aside, that would make a fun bike engine.

Ah come on Polaris, just give Victory enough money to buy up all the plans and old castings of the Britten race bike, you'd have a balls to the wall V-twin sportbike that would weigh maybe 350lbs and look wilder than anything out there even today. Even at just 67 cu in it made 171HP at the tire enough to be at or above current top of the line twin cylinder sportbikes....................

Unless you have an inside connection, I would say that's not a bad guess. That's in line with other Victory names; Vegas, Jackpot, High Ball....

The Picture is labeled "Thor's landing" so carrying that forward to bike names, the Hammer would be Thor's weapon. So, I would assume some derivation of that bike with a bored-out 106 and STRAIGHT pipes to make it roar like the thunder god himself!

From the website it is clear that it will be running the straight up Freedom 106. Thats in the bottom right corner of the picture. I would not be surprised to see a more classically designed fatboy-like cruiser with the larger beach bars and all. They may be positioning the design influence for the future of Indian by starting that appearance in Victory.

1/20/12 is the opening date of the motorcycle show in NYC so I'm guessing the bike will be shown there.

Someone claims to have gotten a sneek peek he claims the bike is similar in color to the Ness Vision orange and black.

I go to the bike show every year so I may see the bike in person

Here's what I saw:

steel frame
single round headlight

What can you find?
