| A couple of questions other than the upgraded transmission and the lack of rear floor boards are there any other differences on these 2 years? With that being said where could I find a used set of rear tip overs and rear floor boards for the 2011 as a new set, both required is over $ 700.

Pittsburgh, PA | 2011 has a 5000 mile oil change where as the 2010 has a 2500 oci... does the 2011 has standard ABS? i know my 2011 vision came standard with abs. |

Boise, ID | The 2011 8 Ball does not have ABS. I just purchased a new 2010 about a month ago. My dealer was a little put out that I made them search the country and find a 2010 until they realized how much it would cost to add the tipover protection and the passenger floorboards. I recall that they wanted $1400 to do both and they told me that was at their cost-not sure I believe that but that's what they told me. I know there are transmission upgrades from 2010 to 2011, but I rode a 2012 Vision Tour as a test ride and haven't really noticed any difference with my 8 Ball. I think you'll be happy with either year - I love mine. |

Orlando, FL | Yes, the tip over and the passenger floorboards are not an easy install. Part of the problem is that you have to change the heat shields on the pipes too. The 2011 heat shields do not have the cut out needed for the tip overs. I know, I got a 2011 8 Ball and part of the deal was adding the tip overs and passenger boards. The dealer had no idea of the complications he encountered. I got a really good deal on that one!

| I have a 2011 8-ball and wanted rear floorboards but I didn't want to do the tip overs so I found some used XC boards/mounts and put those on. They don't fold up so I keep them down but they will pivot up if your leg hits them which is a lot nicer then getting bit by the tipovers. As far as the tipovers go, the front ones still work pretty good cause I had a low speed drop on the right side and still had no damage, pipe was about half an inch from touchdown.

Nor Cali | I got both Tip Over and Floor Boards on my 2011 VV 8 Ball...But didn't use stock pipes. Went with D&D for Stage 1.

Orlando, FL | Landscape, here's my suggestion. Get a list of all dealers in your state. That's the easy part. Then start calling. Yea, it takes a little effort, but doesn't everything worth doing? You'll find one that wants your business and will get you what you want. I started calling dealers looking for a 2010 8 ball last Feb. The first 4 dealers really didn't seem to want my business. The fifth one wanted my business and found a 2010, then offered me a 2011 for only a few dollars more. He WORKED for my business and got it! And I love my 2011 8 ball!!
Good Luck in your search. Oh, and you can also search e-bay and craigslist. But NO ONE is going to do the work for you.
