| This is what most of the shops use. I've had one for years. No problems. I also got the side extensions for it so I can ride the Vision on and then put it on the side stand. Marc |

| Make sure the lift is long enough. I have a old handy and the rear tide is right at the back edge of the lift. Chopper lifts are longer.

Western Wyoming | I've had a K&L lift for about 3yrs with drop table, side panels,sissor jack and wheel chock
It's an investment but well worth it.I bought it thru the local Honda shop one of my son's in law's dad owns.
I got it @ dealers cost and minus the $300 freight charge that would have been tacked on delivered to my hse.
I added the stair tread on the side panels for some traction running up into the self standing wheel chock.

Duanesburg N.Y. | Jeeeze the motorcycle lift still gives me the cold chills, Had my new vision fly off my lift at 4 feet of height due to a malfunctioning ratchet strap last spring and take a header to the concrete, UGH!!!! Lucky for me the 3 dogs were camped out on the other side of the lift when the garage gnomes pressed the release button. please be carefull when you secure your bike to the lift. Allstate insurance is still hating me I bet. close to $4,800.00 when it was all said and done. never thought plastic would cost so much. double UGH!!! |

With a good wheel chock and sissor jack I think the only way my bike would topple would be a 7.5 earthquake.
I do strap it down in the winter though for peace of mind.I'll keep it elevated about 20" so a car door doesn't
come in contact or to keep the grand kids from jumping on. Some good reliable straps are a must though,
especially when removing a wheel. |

| I use the TCML and also have the side extensoins for it. It has a 1500 Lbs capacityand works great for my vision. It can be found at various suppliers, here is one of them.

West Chester, PA / 08 VVPT | I like the Atlas HI-RISE 1500 Motorcycle/ATV Lift. It raises up to 43" which is just great for great for getting things to or near chest height. I find that I do not have to bend over much when working on or cleaning the bike. It comes with the side and front extenders.

| To show my age I paid $375 bucks for mine new. I think I could get $500 for it now. I have had hundreds of bikes on it with no issues. If you buy an air lift you will need a jack for underneath. Its well worth the money and if you have a 4x4 truck or some kinda of high sitting suv you can park on top of it to save room.

| The the dry weight is 849 lbs (approx. 900 lbs wet), therefore, the 1000 lb lift is adequate. It gives you a 100 lbs of margin (the manufacture built the lift with a safety margin).
The 1500 lb lift would provide additional margin and would cover any items left in the saddle bags/trunk and/or if someone were to be sitting on the bike while on the lift.

Prescott, Az | I've been using the Harbor Freight lift for a few years and it works great. For the $500 I paid for it the lift has paid for itself. It's air/hydralic. I made my own side ramps out of $25 ATV ramps and I added a Harbor Frieght chock to the front in place of the wheel vise that came with it. I've got about $600 into this lift and it has never failed.

Centennial, CO | If you're not into a full table lift (I don't have the room or the money right now), I found something similar to this on CL (craigslist) for 70 bucks (link is to Harbor Fright). The guy I bought mine from added a pneumatic bottle jack that I hook up to my compressor which is a really nice to have addition. He also added some type of roller bearing type ball/wheels on the bottom that make fine adjustments very easy.
Anyway, I used it on my VV for a bit and as I type, my new CCT is sitting about 12" off the floor as I'm modding and adding striping and such. Neither bike was too heavy for it. I am not sure if the straps come with this one, but if not, they have a billion and one choices (usually) that should make the job a lot easier.
As stated above...ensure your bike is properly secured. You do NOT want a fall...especially if you are underneath it.
YES, the bike is wobbly...but rest assured, I have NEVER had an issue. I work slow and methodically to avoid any brain damage (bike falling).
Just another option for you...this one is 199...but again...look around and you'll find nearly the same thing for a lot less. My Pop just ordered one from Harbor Frightful for 70 bucks and it was a time saver AND back saver when it came to swapping out his exhaust on his Nomad 1500.

| Keep in mind a vision is longer then a harley and most tables are designed for a harley. So you want a table for a chopper cause there longer table.
Make sure it has a drop plate on the rear of the table it makes changing the rear tire a snap. Look at my above photo you see the rear wheel is right at the end of the table no big deal to me but it might be to some.
One of the guys said he wanted to store it out side just make sure you cover it up and all should be good |

That's not entirely true.As far as K&L I've seen the mod. MC615 1000 lb lift retail for $1200-$1500 (just
for the lift,side panels,sissor jack, wheel chock extra) + in my case $300 shipping.If you're tight with a
motorcycle dealer go thru them right from from the factory.It cost me $980 w/no shipping charges. I looked @
a Handy lift but would have had to drive 700 mi. round trip to Denver to pick it up + I still would have been
charged $300 shpping.As far as storing it outside I guess you could if on concrete.These things way upwards
of 600 lbs. The small wheels on them would make it impossible to roll around in gravel etc. The table is 84"
long,the Vision's wheel base is 65" ,1 1/2 " longer than my Harley was so the standard length table is fine.

Well the TCMLW lift from Complete Hydraulic www.completehydraulic.com is in the garage.
Very well packed and easy to assemble, main table, 24" x 84" is assembled, the side extensions need to be slid onto the mounting tubes and the front extension and tire clamp need to be installed. Took about 1 hour to un-crate and get assembled.
I have not lifted the Vision but the lift appears to be good quality.
It is supposed to snow here this weekend so I will have lots of time to make more room in the garage for the lift. Definitely FAR above the lift currently offered by Harbor Freight.

Lift Safe It was easy to get off the truck. I work for a company that allowed me to have it shipped to their loading dock and then they put it on my trailer for the ride home. If you ship to your home they will charge additional costs, ($200), for a lift gate truck and then you have to get it into your garage. It is packaged REALLY well in a wooden crate. After opening the crate it is easily unpacked. The total shipment was REALLY heavy, 650 LBS, so getting it off the trailer was an issue. I basically unpacked it on the trailer and rolled it off on it's own wheels. The lift is packed upside down in the bottom of the crate so I just tipped the crate onto it's side and flipped the lift out and onto it's wheels. There is a picture of the crate shown at the bottom of the web page for the lift. As soon as you get it onto it's wheels and remove packing ties and put an air coupler on the foot pedal you can raise the table and roll it where ever you want. The only thing that seems really low quality is the foot pedal, it seems to leak a lot of air if left coupled to your hose but it is functional. I have my snowblower on it currently since my garage is a little full, I will finish re-organizing this weekend and see if I can awaken the Vision from it's long winter sleep and see how the lift works. If I don't get that done it will be spring before I can get the bike out of storage. |

This is the lift they now have. No air, hydralic only. There is a $300 off coupon in the last Motorcyclist magazine. I am going to HF today to see if they have them in stock or do I need to order.

There was some end to end wobble but not bad , called my dealer for the i-bolts in tip overs he wants Ice Cream LOL sounds like a fair trade to me |
