Gang,

For those of you wondering if its worth upgrading to a 116 with Lloyds new HDR cams, clutch, ECM upgrade and want to.

Do it!!!! Just got my bike back today from Ness in CA and took a nice easy spin.. Still breaking her in.. She's runs and sounds beautiful and the Hawk Wired set up kicks major ass...

I will post dyno #'s, after I reach the 500 mile mark and take her to get fine tuned for those whom are interested in knowing..

More to follow....

Live to Ride!!! Ride safe!!!

Never heard of Hawk Wired.... is that similar to or a knock off of the Hawg-Wired audio system? If so, I've been seriously considering it for a while, but the Hawg system is pricey. Is the one you got any cheaper?

I did the same thing last year. When my 2011 came in I had them pull the engine and put in the 116 & cam's. I have 22k miles on it now and love it! I was talking to Lloyd at the NY bike show when they Zack Ness introduced his new bike. He gave me some ideas for more upgrades. Good luck with the 116. I know you will love it!

Thanks Fred..Can't wait to break her in some more and get it fine tuned and dyno'd. What type of #'s did you get out of your bike?

I mean Hawg Wired, not Hawk, sorry. Yeah, it is very pricey and certainly not a necessity, but if you want the best, cleanest, sound using stock head unit and stock speaker wholes. It definately rocks... This is my 3rd set from them. Had it on my 08 Vision and also my 07 HD Ultra...

Ride Safe and Ride often... Life is too short!!!!

What other upgrades did he talk to you about? Just curious, not that I am going to crack it open anytime soon again.. .. and my wallet is dry..

For those of you who wanted to see the bike. Here is a link on youtube. I didn't get a chance to start her up so you can here the 116 with Thunderstix... I love this bike and just took a nice 300 mile ride on Saturday down the coast to Carmel for breakfast. She rides like a dream with all the add ons, bars, hwy pegs, etc...

Ride Hard and ride safe!!!!

New Orleans, La,
Alohaboy that is one bada_s Ness. I particlarly like the change in wheels from the 12s' to the 11s' model year. I find them muck better looking. I also the apes are nice and BTW you must be kinda tall judging from the mods, enjoy.

Thanks.. Yeah, at 6'6 with long arms and legs the Vision is the perfect bike for a taller guy with the apes, hwy pegs, and backrest... Fits me perfectly...
