Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | Ok...how the heck do you get the left grip off the bike?
Yes, I get that you put a screwdriver down it and get the glue off. But now its loose and I look inside the tube of the handlebar and I see what appears to be two set screws or something. What the heck?
I'm about to cut the damn thing off and just buy a new set. Any help here would be MOST appreciated! |

| With the tour prem heated grips you have to roll back the flange edge of the grip to get to the screws. Here is a link to the tech info. The chapter is 12. http://www.mediafire.com/?8s7n9b9p3ep91 . Dain |

Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | Thank you, Dain!
Sadly, the instructions that were sent with the new pull back bars did NOT have this tidbit in there. When I finally got it removed I found I had successfully destroyed the grip. So, the dealer will be ordering a new one on Victory's dime I hope. I'm soooo NOT happy at this point. ARGH!
Really...they couldn't take the time to put an extra line in the instruction sheet stating that these screws are there and explain how to get them out?
Oh well...again, thank you! I stubbled with it for about an hour before I posted the question. 30 seconds and they were off after I found them AND how to get them off. UGH!
