Mesa, AZ United States | Have an 08 vision and don't like the mirrors as they are lousy for seeing anything behind you. Would like to put some aftermarket mirrors on the handlebars. The newer visions have predrilled holes in the clutch and brake reservoir assemblies to accept an aftermarket mirror stem. The 08 assemblies do not have such a hole. Does anyone know if the part to which I am pointing in the attached pictures (assuming that the pictures are attached) is solid and could be drilled and tapped to accept a mirror stem. The part of the assembly to which I am referring is outboard of the reservoirs and above the pistons that are actuated by the brake and clutch handles. If anyone has done this I would be interested in seeing the end the result. The only alternative is to put a clamp on the handlebars.
