Came across this on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/140589951242?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_...

I think I've seen it mentioned once or twice here, but I can't find the posts.

But anyways....anyone have an idea if it will work on the Vision? I'm a little bit thinking that due to being hydraulic that it won't.

Whatcha think?

Says "Extends clutch cable life" which makes me thing it's NOT for a hydraulic clutch.

I've been curious about these gadgets. It looks to me like all it does is put the clutch cable ball farther away from the shaft, increasing leverage.

By doing that, though, it would increase the length of pull, affecting not only how much resistance you feel, but the distance of pull required to disengage the clutch.

That might not be a bad thing, as long as it allows the clutch to fully disengage when you pull the lever in. It seems like it would have the effect of slowing down the engagement and disengagement of the clutch. Might not be a bad thing since it might allow you to have better control within the friction zone. My clutch seems to have a very small "zone". It's just a few fractions of an inch from being more of an "on/off" switch!

Any comments on this?

For being a much bigger motor than I have had in the past, I expected the clutch to be much tougher to pull. On my first ride I was pleasently surprised how easy it was. My hand didn't get tired in traffic.
