I found these as a possible option for our mirror situation;

the best mirror i have ever used to date has been , looking over my shoulder. so far nothing has given me a better viewing angle.. And the price is Unbeatable. best of all, nothing out of place hanging on the bike.

I simply put a small rectangler mirror in the corner.  A whole $3.  It works fine and doesn't detract from the overall lines.  If you look carefully you'll see it also has an angle to it.  Here is a picture:

Head check to the rear should always be performed. Mirrors (and better auxiliary mirrors) augment the view back there....

The Visions mirrors do suck. I still need to get my rear view camera installed. I'm a slacker regarding that particular improvement for my Vision....

I assume the "our mirror situation" pertains to some that feel the same as you do.  However, I find the mirrors are more than adequate and have never had an issue.  One thing we must know and do is to do the quick look over the shoulder.  Relying on any mirror to tell you something in all situations is asking for trouble.

But, it is your machine, and your comfort level, so I'm sure you'll be more than satisfied with this application, as well as others that feel the same way.  I will not criticize you for making a choice of function over appearance.  I will always choose function over appearance, my bike is for go, not for show.

I just do not understand these mirror issues some have..Nothing in the world is perfect and IMHO there is absolutely nothing wrong with the mirrors on the Vision if they are adjusted correctly...It always helps to look over your shoulder when you are un-sure about whats behind....Stay safe and alert.....

I know of no "mirror situation". Mine work great, a huge improvement over my old Goldwing.

My choice is purely for function. After having the two inch back and 1 inch up bars installed, my hands are directly in the middle of the mirrors. I agree that looking over your shoulder is certainly the safe way to change lanes, but just the normal routine of seeing who and what is behind you with a quick glance, hopefully these will be of assistance.

I do not understand why you and others can't fathom what is wrong with these mirrors, compared to other model motorcycle mirrors.

Let me break it down for you.

The mirrors on the vision give you LIMITED view DIRECTLY you; as compared to other mirrors on bikes that we have ridden; no matter what angle you adjust them.

I want the SAME rearward visibility as I have enjoyed on other bikes, with their OEM mirror systems.

So that is why others have augmented Vision mirrors with auxillary mirrors. We don't settle for less than perfect. We do try to get close to it.

If your mirrors work for you, good for you. Quit bitching about others whom are having issues with their mirrors.
