Posts: 241 Monrovia, Ca | I am going to be adding a Victory CB system to my 09 Vision.
Right now I have my I phone connected through the black I phone cable.
I would also like to integrate my Garmin 660 into the system. I have the harness that came from Garmin.
I have read post about the Garmin not being Stereo.
How would I wire the Gamin to have stereo and keep my I phone connections. Possible?
Any help, direction, or points to posts that handle this set up would be much appreciated.
Ideally, I would be listening to music on the phone and would like directions from the Garmin.
Thanks in advance. |

Posts: 446 East TN | There was a post a year or so ago about integrating the 660 into a '09 Vision (or on the VOG)...I thought the 660 WAS stereo. It's the 550 that is NOT Stereo...You should be perfectly fine...I am running a similar set up on my '09 Vision...
CB/Intercom, iPhone for tunes, and Zumo 550 for nav...Just be aware that the CB will ONLY broadcast through the HELMET SPEAKERS not the external speakers... |

| All the info I could find still shows the GPS isn't in stereo. I ordered a starcom1 intercom setup with the cables to supply stereo from the gps as well as a mic feed to the gps so I can use the phone while bluetoothed to the gps. I used the same kind of setup on my Venture and it was handy to have caller ID for when the boss called. This setup is more advanced than the stock comms but 1/2 the cost. You don't get the cb and it's not using the factory (crap) fm radio.
Good luck and if you find out the gps is indeed in stereo let us know.
