Chattanooga, TN | I have a technical question and hoped you guys could offer some advice prior to me beginning work. To start with, I have an 08 VV Tour and just purchased a CB/XM combo off a 2010 XC. Now I see the part numbers for everything are different. The only similarity is the CB wiring harness. So, I'm thinking about selling the XM unit which is specific to the XC and finding a 2010 or newer Vision radio for my bike and using the cb and harness, which are the same for the newer Visions. I've heard that the radio is an direct replacement, plug and play, but don't know this for sure. I really like the idea of having a newer radio, cause I love my bike and that's really the only thing I would want a newer bike for. Anyone else have any experience relating to doing this? |

East TN | I don't have any experience directly....I did look into swapping mine out as well...I spoke tot he Manufacturer and they said IT WOULD FIT only thing that changed was the display, nothing else....Good luck and post pictures once you do it...
Now that you mention this I might look into doing it myself...Dang forums!!! How am I going to explain this to my wife??? |
