Posts: 499 Chattanooga, TN | I have a technical question and hoped you guys could offer some advice prior to me beginning work. To start with, I have an 08 VV Tour and just purchased a CB/XM combo off a 2010 XC. Now I see the part numbers for everything are different. The only similarity is the CB wiring harness. So, I'm thinking about selling the XM unit which is specific to the XC and finding a 2010 or newer Vision radio for my bike and using the cb and harness, which are the same for the newer Visions. I've heard that the radio is an direct replacement, plug and play, but don't know this for sure. I really like the idea of having a newer radio, cause I love my bike and that's really the only thing I would want a newer bike for. Anyone else have any experience relating to doing this? |
