Has anyone heard if Klockwerks will be making the Flare windshield for the Vision like the one they make for the XCT? I have been looking at the Cee Bailys but am waiting to see if Klockwerks comes through.

Try here for a flip shield. I have one and like it. He'll cut it to whatever height you desire.

What do you love about it. Does it give you better wind protection?

does it help the passenger as well? My wife hates it with the stock shield when I have it down.

I am 5'7" tall. The shield was ordered 16". The picture above shows the shield all the way down and wind goes right over my head. Half way up goes over my wifes head. When it is all the way up I am looking thru not over. I can see fine thru the light smoke color. The flip really makes a difference. Great quality glass or whatever it is made of. Very strong. I had www.bikescreens cut down shorter than the stock by I believe 2" and it does measure 16" like I asked for, but it seems just as tall as the stock. No worries, Love the electric shield on the vision, I can choose how high or low I want it. If I ordered again I would probably order 14.5" based on my height. That would be plenty for me. Keep in mind I have a Ness seat which is an inch lower than stock

Do they not come pre-drilled ? Is yours light smoke or medium smoke?

Thanks.

Mine is light smoke. I had them send me samples and I thought the dark smoke would be more difficult to see thru at night if a dog or something ran out in front.
They are not predrilled holes , but I did not find it to be to challenging to drill when following there instruction and using there bits.
I did need a second person to press the shield down flush so I could mark the holes. You do not want to trace from the old shield.

Can anyone with some sort of aftermarket flip type screen comment on any difference noticed on the vacuum or vortex formed behind your head?

Well, I finally got a response from Klockwerks. It looks like a shield for the Vision is coming but they are still negotiating with Victory. The response is below:

Hello Roman,

Thank you for contacting Klock Werks.  You interest and support for our products is very important to us.  We have received a large number of online requests and are currently a little understaffed, so we really appreciate your patience while we strive to individually answer all emails, including yours.  Thank you very much…

We also appreciate your interest in a FLARE Windshield for the Victory Vision.  As you may already know, Klock Werks has become known for developing innovative products that are very stylish, tasteful, and most importantly highly functional.  We are proud to be working closely with Victory on the release of new Klock Werks parts for the Victory line, including more applications for our FLARE Windshields.

We have actually done some R&D and a lot of real world testing with a prototype version already.  At this time, however, we have not been able to establish a set plan with Victory for the production and release of a shield for the Vision.  We will certainly be happy to add you contact information to a waiting list and attempt to contact you with updates as things progress.

If you have any other questions, comments or thoughts you would like to share with us, please feel free to contact us again at your convenience.  You can reply directly to this email, or simply call the shop number listed below.  We are always happy to help…

Thanks again for your interest in Klock Werks!!

Did you black out your front turn signals yourself or purchase them?
