After looking at the cost of the chrome plastic panels in the accessories Polaris site I have figured that Harley Davidson and Victory are in kahoots with each other as far as prices go. I love the look of the chrome plastic panels for the vision but $300.00 for side panels that i could snap in half in my hands just seems to crazy for me.

Thats just for the 2 scallops for the side and then theres more. UGH!!!!

The pictures of the guys who have paid the cash for their bikes for all the chrome just make me envious that my bike looks so plain.

Has any body ever had their plastic parts chromed? I am doing a lot of research on the web and with all toxic chemicals that require plating it is hard to find some one who does plastic.

And of course theres the down time and cost for shipping parts back and forth so either way it wont be simple or cheap.

I cant be the only one who has thought of this, Your thought on this please.

They warranty it for 3 years and say it's designed to last for 5. If it looks good, and lasts that long it would be a very cost effective option.
