Does anyone know where I can buy just the female end of the 7 pin connector ( the part that mounts to the dash) or an after market 7 or 8 pin connector that has both male and female ends ? I have the cables but they are broken, if I can find just the end I can cut the wire and attach the new end, or find a new 7 or 8 pin connector with both ends, I will cut both cables (the one on the bike and one from the headset) and just put on a new connector on both.

You might try Radio Sound, the company that makes the system for Victory

Be aware that you might pick up static buzz from the ignition system or plug wires unless you shield the wires from outside, stray sources called induction. I ran into that problem when I changed a plug on a J&M on a previous bike, fortunately I had the powers of an aircraft repair company where I worked as a source to get the wires shielded by the guys in avionics.
Rather than futz around, I'd see if Radio Sound would sell you the needed coax assembly.

I just had to replace the female connector on the trunk of my 08 Vision. On my invoice from Ness it is listed as: Polaris p/n 4012901 headset jack plug. $79.99

I guess after 4 years of plugging and unplugging they do wear out.

You might try Sierra. I know they have extension cables for the Goldwing, plus replacement parts for J&M, Air Rider, and IMC. http://www.sierra-mc.com/

Ed at Edsets can probably help you out too. http://www.edsets.com/

Chrome World has finally realized that there are other touring bikes than the Goldwing and now has some stuff for the Vision. They have replacement headset plugs and sockets for the Goldwing. Don't know what they have for the Vision. I guess you could always use the GW plugs and sockets if you're going to be splicing anyway. http://www.chromeworld.com/GroupDetails/GroupLanding1.aspx?gid={2f3...

You'll have to do a bit of searching, but you can try www.mouser.com and probably get the part for less than $10.00.
