Posts: 15 San Francisco Bay Area | The mount is under the cover panel so there is not much to see. It's a plate that is bolted to the trunk mounting holes in the frame. The stainless flag holder is welded to that. I've cut a hole in the cover panel and I'm looking for something to finish off the hole.
My flag is 2 1/2 x 4 feet. I've flown it in parade work as well as escort on the freeway at speed. No problem either way. With it frame mounted there is little effect on the bike. |

| I have been looking and looking for some way to mount a nice flag like that, but with the trunk still in place - I ride 2 up a lot and taking the trunk on and off is a hassle.
Anyone come up with a solution for a flag mount like budman with the trunk in place? |

Posts: 395 Moravia, IA | I dont have a picture of it with the bike upright but heres my hitch flag mount....
Works with and without the trunk in place.....the flag is somewhat in the bikes slipstream so it doesnt get beat to death at freeway speeds. Ive done escorts at 65mph for up to 30 miles......still using the same flag. I really should take a better picture......I was getting a new front tire mounted......or my bike was napping, dont remember which.

Posts: 395 Moravia, IA | Found a better one....from the front. Thats not a full size flag.....it would touch the ground if I used a big one. Its a 2x3 I think.....works great.
