I found a new leftover 2011 Vision that I'm taking delivery of tomorrow. I bought out of state so other than pix I haven't seen it in person.

Other than the owners manuals, what else is included that I should make sure that I get at delivery? While I've test ridden a few Visions, I didn't go through the purchase in detail with my local dealer as I wasn't buying from him.

Thx in advance and for the knowledge already on the board.

Hi Mark, and welcome!
I bought mine in November, but even though it was recent; I've already forgotten a lot of the small stuff.

As I recall though, mine had in a large plastic bag containing: owner's manual, assorted other offer cards I ignored, small toolkit, spare key.

I think thats about it.

There are two large eye-bolts that screw into the bottom of the tipovers.  They are used to tie down the bike during shipping.  Dealers will tell you that they have to return those bolts back to the factory for re-use but if you can talk him into letting you keep them they are gold if you ever need your bike towed.  The tow truck ape will try to tie down your bike using the handlebars and it will be a huge disaster as the tiedowns drape across your front console and stretch out the vibration isolators built into the bottom of the handlebars.  The bolts are also just nice to have in any trailering scenario.

Congrats and enjoy!

A battery tender cable to attach to your battery.

A fresh supply of ear-to-ear grins when you get out on the road with your new mile-eater.

Your dealer will tell $250 for the first 500 mile oil change and check up. Tell him no you don't pay for factory not to build it right. Its his job to see the bike is assembled right. If you have to pay ask for 25% of any thing you buy for the next five years

I just bought mine last week. You should get the plastic bag with the manual, tool kit, zipper nylon bag(it was for the manual and tools, but the new manual is bigger), spare key, tire gauge and other stuff. My dealer said they do not include the tender cable, but put one on the bike for me. My first service was included(I had to negotiate it!), but was told it was around $85(500 mile service, I scheduled mine for two days after purchase...). Like Songfan said, ask for the eyebolts. I need to do that too! Make sure the battery has not been sitting in the bike for a year w/out a tender! The easy find neutral was the biggest thing that was different for me(traded my 09 VV). It will not go past N from 1st if the bike is not moving! Oh, and the silly gear indicator not showing what gear you are in if clutch is pulled in... Congrats!!!

My dealer was kind enough to to load the shop manual on a disc for me.

Mine had been on the floor since dec 10, 59 miles. I got two keys, the tool bag, manuals but no pressure gage. For 15 otd I couldn't pass it up. I thought the ipod cord would be included but it wasn't. I have a harley type (s&s 124) custom and wanted to add a tourer. The handling and features are great - my only dislike is the seat height. Going from a 22" seat is a big change. I've been reading the posts about lowering but most here seem split on doing it. For just an inch or two it doesn't seem worth it. I'll ride it for the summer and re-consider for a winter project. I already bought the glasspacks. The most noticeable thing while riding is people no longer wave...
I thought I really wanted a ultra limited but a few test rides convinced me otherwise. I think I got a great value.
