Posts: 74 Republic of Texas | Today I rode Three Sisters in the Texas Hill Country. 240 miles of turns. What a day!
I have own a couple of Gold Wings in the past, and have ridden in a few states. But, I guess I am just not covering the right areas. I did today.
A few months ago, I bought a 2008 Vision and have been happy with it. It rides well, easy to handle. Looks cool.
The Three Sisters - three highway treks around the Kerrville area northwest of San Antonio. I think God made this area just for motorcycles. What a day.
While Hoggs abound in the area, along with Gold Wings, Trikes, Beemers, and others. I did not see any Visions. And, while everyone has fun on this ride, the Vision EATS IT UP. I left plenty of Hoggs behind. It was fun keeping up with the Beemers and Ducati's.
If you get the chance to ride in central Texas. Do so. Don't wait for summer it might be too hot. Our day started at 61 degrees and ended up around 94. A warm spring day in Texas.
Hope you had fun today.

I heard it referred to as both. I even liked the Three Twisted Sisters.
It seems to be made for a Vision. |

| no problem radioteacher....
we did about 730 mile in about 16 hours, leaving the Fort Worth Dallas area to the 3 Sisters....IT WAS a BLAST once again. Two other bikes came along, a Vision and a HD Fatbob. Left home at 5 am and got back right before diner time ....with a billion dead bugs of course ....
We got rained on for the first leg (RR336) but by the first stop it was clear and started to dry pretty quick.... http://youtu.be/dV9Jio7JxTw .....the vision was handling so GREAT!!!!! i was very impressed. The last two legs (337 and 335) were AWESOME....roller coaster style on RR335 as we twisted that throttle...the vision loves the fast pace or maybe its me!
I am still editing the videos...i should have them all done in the next couple days....subscribe to my channel
