I had to have a little fun with the floorboard skids I put on. Ignore all narrative by my teenage son and his friends.

I could have made tighter turns, but I was going for maximum sparks!

Get you some titanium bolts if you want a shower of sparks-they're very impressive at night -Brian

Just remember that Titanium WILL burn (and fiercely white hot) and it's like Magnesium and makes it's own oxygen. So your 'cool trick' could result in burning your toy to the ground, oh yeah, just like Mag it REALLY hates water being applied while it's burning @ about 2300 degrees f so pack the sticks and Hot Dogs and the asbestos marshmallows.

These were designed for protection of PD bikes and are made from extremely hard steel. You should see the grooves it left in the street. I don't know about the regular Visions, but the lowered Ness Vision tends to scrape a little more and I found these very needed. Maybe it's just me being too agressive.

Has anyone who lowered their Vision, or tried both a stock and Ness, noticed that much difference in lean angle? I have considered raising the bike to a stock level, but really like the stability of the lower center of gravity.

Nice Job Darrell.

OBTW, still trying to find the LED tail pipe tips. The searches I have done lead to a out of business company.

This is where I got the floorboard skids,

http://victorypolicemotorcycles.com/products.html

This is where I got the LED exhaust tips,

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_nkw=led&_sacat=0&_odkw=&item=170487...

THe tips are the same diameter as the Thrush mufflers, so they cannot be clamped on, only cut to length and welded. The 'Truck' ones are straight cut, the others are slant cut.

So Nozzledog, the scraping wasn't the tipovers hitting the ground it was the floorboard? Did you ever hit the tipovers? Any idea if the CHP has any problems with the LED exhaust? Awesome look for sure.

Nice riding, you handle it very well.
Where did you get the lighted reflectors under the saddlebags?

I know the blue exhaust tips are illegal, but the cops I have talked to said that any that would ticket me for it must be real jerks. Even so, most of the times I turn them off for night rides, unless I'm part of a group.

The lighted reflectors under the saddlebags I found at Autozone for $40/pr. They flash and brighten when you hit your brakes, and blink sequentially when you use your turn signal. I will try to post video of that if you want.

I have scraped front tipovers a few times, you can definetly hear a sound difference when you scrape those. Next I want to see if I can take off from stationary on the tipovers.
