Posts: 6 Minerva, Ohio | I've been lurking this forum since I bought my Vision in 2009 and just wanted to say THANKS! :-)
From the information I've gleaned, these are my completed modifications:
Darkside Rear Tire (I'll never go back!); Clear Front Turn Signals (Best visual improvement!);
99 LED Trunk Brake Light (biggest safety improvement!!); 3M Carbon fiber - console, dash top cover, plastic portion of front fender, and battery cover; NO MORE belt chirping - Amen!; and the Middle rear brake light mod. (that one just made good sense!)
On my list: Radio antenna & speaker upgrades; Cams & intake are already ordered.
On my own: Side bag mounted white Stingerz led "puddle lights" wired into the top bag plunger switch. My wife's favorite mod. - no more putting on chaps in the dark!; Remote control Purple UV Stingerz to give just a subtle cast off of the side chrome pieces & motor. I'm not into major accent lighting but I get a LOT of compliments on that.
My biker nickname has always been "Rocket Man" and now my bike fits the profile!

Posts: 231 Desert Hot Springs (Palm Springs area), CA | I agree, this forum has been such a blessing. The search feature has brought up so many answers to my questions. I love my Vision and I love this board. I'm also a member of the VMC... Enjoy your ride - and I know you will! <grin> BTW, I'm thinking of putting some blue LEDs to shine down on my engine as well. Too much fun, too much fun! |

Posts: 258 Akron, Ohio | There sure seems to be a lot of us fron northern OHIO. I am going to have to work out a date where we can have a "Vision Cook Out" I have a big yard and driveway, central location, and can cook a mean burger on the grill. We will have to make this happen! |

Posts: 6 Minerva, Ohio | A Northern Ohio get-together sounds like a good time. I wonder how many others from this area bought their Visions at Bair's. I still get a lot of comments & compliments on my bike around here but I have ridden in some parts of the country where folks actually want their picture taken with the bike. I guess there must not be any Victory dealers close by :-)
Here's the LED page: http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=4824&pos...
and the Carbon Fiber: http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=8957&pos...
I just used the same process to wrap the other pieces as well! |

Can I have an Aaaaaaaaaa-men?!
A huge thanks to everyone that contributes to this board. EVERYONE! I have learned a lot about my ride, and it has saved me a few times. I have enjoyed the debates, the camaraderie and the sometimes heated discussions. It is without a doubt the best motorcycle board on the internet.
And a big thanks to Jedi Jeff and those who created this board!! I know it took a lot of work to create a user friendly site for us to enjoy.
