Posts: 208 Edmonton Alberta, Canada | Stoped at my Victory dealer yesterday, Priced out a new windshield, stock size as it works great for me and the "Wife". I have50000 km or 30000 miles and it is pitted to the point it is hard to ride with it in the up posistion. Through work I import product from the US. Our dollar is par now, or very close. I would like to konw if anyone has recently priced out a new standard windshield for the Vision. Tomorrow I will be calling south of the boarder to price out a new shield. I am not beating up my dealer on pricing however, Polaris on their not adjusting the exchange rates when improting products. I did order the new glove box and gasket as the latch tongue broke last year and I am tired of the velco I have been using.
Windshield 375.00
Lid and gasket 155.00
Thanks for any replies |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | I did alright, I guess. A local who just got his VV put a tinted shield on as soon as he bought it. And offered his stock windshield for sale on Craigslist (and this site) - I talked him down to $120 for it ... glad I did - mine is getting a bit cloudy.
In the 2009 Vision parts catalog - short shield is $149 and tall is $198 (u.s.) - so I used that info to talk him down (nice chap - Vancouver Police Motorcycle Cop - they are switching over to Victory bikes). So I'm glad he didn't see THIS post !!!

Posts: 208 Edmonton Alberta, Canada | I have looked at the Cee Baily, and considering it. I have a e-mail into a US dealer just to see what the cost diference is. Profit is not a four letter word, however gouge is!!! I am still hunting out my options. the Cee Baily is not blacked out at the bottom which is not a huge deal, however I really do not want to see the power shield mechanism. Thank you eveyone.
ps the lid = the glove box lid |

Just sayin'
