Maryland | Has anyone purchased the saddlebag liners? Are they good liners, do they use all of the room in the bags? Thanks

Akron, Ohio | I have the Victory bags. They do seem to be good quality. They use most of the space in the saddelbags. They do not fir the indents in the bottem but rather are made flat. I like them for trips but do not use then day to day.

Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | Here's my opinion on the liners-Trunk liner:works great, grab it and head in/out of the motel room. Saddle bag liners: pretty much worthless unless you pack them 1/2 full. If you pack them full you'll never be able to get them in or out of the bike without pullin' something out. Solution: multiple small compression bags- these maximize the space and you can easily pop them in & out of the saddlebags-dedicate one for dirty clothes (I usually bring my rattiest underwear and T shirts and trash them along the way) one for toiletries, etc-much better use of the visions limited saddlebag space- I've done two up for 10 day tours no problem with rain gear & everything inside the bags-no luggage rack. THE HANDLES ARE REALLY NICE FOR TAKING TO THE HOTEL ROOM.
ALSO BOUGHT THE TRUNK LINER---NO REGRETS.

Bullhead City, AZ | \Got mine for Christmas. Use them all the time even when flying. They pack into the side tight, when I pack mine I push the bottom in first and I can still get stuff around the edges. Would get them again in a heartbeat. Niice to just pull them out and walk into to motel. |

Orlando, FL | I'm pretty much in agreement with ByteN2it. I have the Cee Bailey Bag liners. Look nice, good quality, but they are just too big. I have only used them twice, but if you fill them they are a pain to get into the saddlebag opoening, which as we all know is smaller than they saddlebag compartment. IF the bags were the same size as the opening, perhaps they would be easier to get in and out of the saddlebag opening and allow for a little over-packing which we all seem to do. I'm thinking of selling mine.

Jasper, MO | I'm in agreement with ByteN2it and MaddMAx2u. I have the Bestem liners. Good quality (look identical to the Victory branded ones) and cheaper. We can put enough clothes for two people for 10 days in the trunk liner. Works great. The saddlebags are bigger than the opening, so if you fill the bag liners full, you can't get them in or out without a lot of difficulty. We don't use the bag liners anymore. We use compression bags for toiletries, cleaning supplies, tire plugs and compressor, etc, and reserve most of the space in the saddlebags for raingear, jackets, heated gear, etc.
Get the trunk liner and spend the money you would have spent on the saddlebag liners for a good trunk rack bag or two. This one works great on the Vision with a CB antenna installed. http://www.tbags.com/detail.aspx?ID=91&SelectedCat=3 The self attaching tabs don't quite line up with the Victory trunk rack, but a couple of bungee cords over it works great.

, FL United States | I use the Tbags model Dakota and my S.O. and I have used it for long weekend rides. I like that it has a rain cover that stores away in its own zippered pouch and uses 6 straps to tie it to the trunk rack. It is a little pricey but first quality construction and utility with zip-off side bags that have their own shoulder straps for carrying "special stuff" (camera, SO's makeup, and other stuff). |

Springfield Mo. | I have them and they are too much trouble to get in and out unless they are half full. Saddlebag doors don't open enough to get a full bag in. When we travel for a few days we use soft sided bags like the reusable ones you take to the market and fill them about half full and roll them up and stick about 3 of them in each side. Will hold alot more clothes that way. |

| i bought 2 helmet bags from Cycle Gear... on sale. for $10 per bag... they work great.. don't fit the contour of the bag - but who really cares... given the price.. and they serve the dual purpose of actually covering a helmet - if you so desire... had bag liners in one of my BMW years ago... never waste $$ on that again... as many have pointed out - you don't need a bag designed for the sidebag - as you could never fill it up completely - or you wouldn't actually be able to get it out....
