and Visions. I've been coming here for about a month now, since I bought my '12 Bronze Mist Vision Tour, and thought I'd finally post and introduce myself. I went to the dealer to look for a Cross Country but due to a recent fire all they had was a new Bronze Mist Vision Tour. I came back three times, still no XC's but the more I looked at teh Vision the more it grew on me. They finally made me an offer I couldn't resist and I bought it right then and there without even riding it; My test ride was on the trip home!

I've been on it every day since then and I'm lovin' it! What a wonderful ride! My only problem is how to get rid of the 2007 Vulcan Nomad that is taking up space in my garage.

Sorry, I thought I was in the "Welcom and Introductions" section when I posted this.

Great looking ride - you'll do good in selling the Nomad, park it in the front yard, put it on craig's list and ask a good price for it and it'll be gone in a week.

Welcome to the club, in my opinion you made the right choice. I have a friend who is considering a new Vision over his Nomad. If he can talk his wife into it.

I myself came over from a vulcan, it was a classic though. Couldn't be happier. At first I was very unhappy because I hit the throttle hard after buying the vision and had no power (or so I thought) after looking down at the speedo I realized that it was just to good a ride to feel the speed the same way I did on my much smaller bike. Welcome to the club!!!

I bought the exact bike three weeks ago... LOVE IT!!! I joined the site a couple weeks ago but have been reading for quiet a while now. Love the bike, love the feedback and input that everyone contributes. So, I guess I am breaking protocol and doing the intro thing here as well. Hope to post often and look forward to riding with anyone if you're out in the Colorado mountains.

Welcome Steve and Mike. The group here is pretty laid back. No one is going to fault your "rookie mistakes" ! Just glad you are enjoying your new rides. Every time I get on my Vision, I keep saying "wow"! After riding this bike now for a while, go back to your old ride and you will say, "why did I wait so long riding this hunk of junk?" Congrats.

Welcome! I love the Bronze Mist color; great looking bike.
I'm a new owner too, and have a Vulcan Meanstreak sharing stable space with the Vision. Thing is; seems like all I ever want to ride is the Vision!

I too have the Bronze Mist after I wrecked my white 2011. The dealer wouldn't put it on the floor until I bought it, he didn't have any other Visions and said that he had all kinds of Cross Countrys, but didn't want a vision out until he sold some of the cross countrys. Kept having people come in for a Cross Country and walking out with the Vision. He got to where if they asked about a Cross Country he wouldn't let them ride a Vision... Congrats on the bike and I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I do mine. Had the 2011 four months and had 10200 on it when it was wrecked by a 4 wheeler making an illegal left turn in front of me with no room to avoid her. I love the new color and am looking forward to some longer trips....
