Anyone Interested in a Tail of Dragon run this year?
http://www.tailofthedragon.com/

Im thinking either May or Aug.

Let me know if you are interested or not.
If the run is done in May, it will probably be more rider only focused, but if done in Aug it is ussualy riders and passengers.

Ah, not that's not fair!!! MArch and April are our rainiest months...It is just the nature of East Tennessee! Wait 5 minutes and the weather will change!!!

Let me know when you all are coming and I'll see if I can get some other Victory riders from the Dragon Riders club together and we'll go with you...We'll show you all some lesser known roads too!!!

Sounds good, trying to get down there around May 30th.
Is Monday/Tuesday still the least amount of traffic?

Yes Monday or Tuesday...If you're coming down then, don't forget that the South East Victory Rally is happening in Helen, GA that weekend...Come on down and join the fun with a few hundred Victory's!!!

I live in the area. Just make sure you make time to ride the Cherahola skyway. It's a 10x better road without the PR support. Kinda like Harley's... All hype lol. But seriously, ive ridden both a lot, the dragon doesn't compair to the skyway, also rt 28, rt 215, rt280 blue ridge parkway are great roads. Enjoy

Will be making the trip from Vegas to the Dragon and am expected to ride it on June 11th..... And the Cherahola Skyway sounds pretty good too. Hopefully the weather will hold up for this whole trip.

I'll be there on June 10th! Yes, emanIA, there is bbq there and all over East Tennessee, but I usually get a burger at Deal's Gap Resort.

My brother and I are headed to the Dragon around June 22nd. Probably be there around the 23rd or the 24th. We're coming up from Louisiana and going through Memphis and Nashville and then over to the Dragon before heading south to the Keys.

Weather permitting we are gong to ride down from indy this 3 day holiday weekend! We have never one the dragon and she has never been to gatlinburg. We need a break and some chill time! I have a feeling we will do the parkway more than the dragon but I don't care just want a nice ride! Need a hotel or cabin that's not going to kill the bank any suggestions?

Here is a crazy idea, how about doing a Meet & Greet at the Dragon's Den Grill & Deal's Gap Resort & Campground (south end of Deal's Gap, in NC) in August? It's not too long of a trip for those east of the Mississippi, from my house on the IL/WI line to Knoxville it's only 640 miles...........

I will check in when I come down late Aug, and if anyone is in the area, I would definately be up for a meet and greet.
Possibly spend the day riding the area.
