A buddy of mine and I both have '09 M.Cherry Visions, and his had a dealer installed CB. We traded trunks, since he didn't want the trunk on his. I also got the switches from him. We took both bikes to our dealer, where they pulled the CB harness off his; it's another story, but they installed a new audio harness on mine, and added the CB harness off my buddies bike. Well, yippy skippy, it doesn't work, and they said(a week ago) that they'd contact, uh, Congress to find out how to "re-flash" or re-program the unit. I'm still waiting, and have called them, but it seems to be a bigger deal than it needs to be. Is this complicated/fixable? Do I need to write my State Senator?!

All they need to do is hook it up to the digital wrench (their computer system) and make sure all the radio components are at the same level. It takes all of 20 minutes.

Hopefully they put the right model year harness on. There were radio changes in 2010. I don't believe the newer harness will work with the older radios and components.

Did you get the handlebar controls from your friend too?

The radio controls on the handlebar don't work since my visit to the dealer; leads me to believe that it might be the new audio cable that is the culprit. The dealer said that the radio might need to just be re-flashed. Another trip to the dealer............uh, no prob
