Was hoping someone has had the moulded bottom liner out of their tour pack & has a little insight for me. I'm having a problem with my lock. So all the bolts are removed & the liner won't budge. Does the whole tour pack have to come off ? Are there fasteners underneath? Could it possibly have some adhesive tape on it? I have a manual but the assembly drawing is nothing special. Yes it's still under warranty but the dealers hours away. I have a mechanical background ( you wouldn't know it from this post) so just figured it would be more convenient this way. (ha) Hoping I didn't have to tear it right down. Totally missing something.

Thanks in advance Tom ( A Lurker)

OK scratch that. Just had to stop being a pussy. Had to dig a little deeper found a few more screws under the seat. Then the body panel slid back & away from the liner, Voila, exposed latch. Turns out the spring which pushes out the cylinder had come off its perch and was hanging down. Spring looks bent now. Think I'll put a new one on. Thanks again. 47 views in 2 hours I love this forum. Tom

Tom, thanks for the info. My lock quit unlocking a while back. It locks just fine but when I try to unlock it, I have to hold the "push button" with a pair of pliers so I can turn the key and get it to unlock. I guess I'll have to remove the lower liner and see what's what.
