Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Has anyone here tried an Arlen Ness Flip windshield? Wondering how well it works, any problems and etc. And if so, is there any pics on here of one on a Vision. I've heard there are some on the Cross bikes and that some are having problems with the mounting holes cracking but haven't seen any posts of ones on a Vision. |

After a week I called to check on it.....yep, never was in stock. Might see them in 8 weeks or so (this was about 6 weeks ago, so maybe they really ARE in stock now)
I needed a shield so I cancelled the order and went with a CeeBaileys tinted shield. |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Same for me swoop. I ordered mine last week and Ness sent me an email saying it won't be in till 6/1. Kind of the reason I decided to ask about it on here to make sure if I wanted to keep it on back-order or cancel it.
Thanks for all the replies. I was surprised that there hadn't been very many comments about it here. I wish they would have offered in clear also. I know on the "other" Victory site there were several people who had it on their Cross bikes but not much on the Vision there either. |

| I'm 5'10 and run ness shield all the way down 95 percent of the time , also it has different. Lines to it and it makes the vision look bad ass. |

| I got one on my 8 ball and really like it...it seems to work a lil better than the stock vision 8 ball windshield...plus the color matches the 8 ball theme
Get you one...you won't regret it.
Cheers!!

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | I am always amazed at the lack of simple information when buying many motorcycle accessories. Like WINDSCREENS! Vic just says something like Tall, Med, Short, Blade. HUH? And I can't find anything for the Ness Flip. Anyone care to measure the shield at the centerline and let us know how tall this shield actually is??

Dont have a better picture....sorry. Overall I love it. Tinted is the way to go.....looks good but you can still see thru it, even in the dark. Im 6ft4in and I usually ride with it all the way down.....if I need to maybe just a titch up. If I wasnt as tall Id likely order a shorter one.

| Going with tint, no doubt. I'm kinda leaning toward the Ness windshield. I rarely look through it anyway. |

| the ness flip is 13 7/8 inches tall measured in center of shield from top edge to bottom edge, it looks small but works much bigger. |

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | Thanks kjb!! That helps a lot. I have a 15 inch Gustaffson flip and it could be a little shorter. The Ness just might be a good choice for me. |

| I got tired of waiting for the Ness shield. I to saw that it showed in stock to and ordered it only to get an email the following day that the web site always shows in stock. I ordered one from Gustaffson and he made my dark flip as short as he could, it is about 13". My dealer is putting it on now. I will put up pictures up when I get it back. Also getting slash cut D & D 's. Can't wait!!!!! |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | You would think they would at least change their website to say that they were under going a process change and to call for info. Having it say they are in stock all the time is misleading and disappointing. Guess I will keep an eye out for an update. |
