Is it simply a color factor, or does your 2011 have a few gremlins? |

Posts: 935 Rockford, IL | Gonna take a bath on the $$$ differences selling used and buying new. Unless the current bike has some type of issues I'd keep it. But I'd surprise her and suggest using the money for the new bike and take a nice vacation. |

| Agree with Lotzafun...Unless there is a really good reason to take a huge $ loss on the 2011, I would keep it and spend the money on something she might really want and surprise her...But as said above, when Momma ain't happy no one is....Your deal, but I would not trade my 2011 for 2012 unless the dealer wanted to give me the Ness Vision for a song....... |

Posts: 188 Tifton, GA | Teacher her to ride and put her on a 2012 Vision of her own. My wife took the class, got her license, and I bought her the bike she wanted ( Suzuki C50T ) back in 08. It has 24K miles on it. Would be more but she had both knees replaced in 09 and a shoulder surgery last year. She won't ride much without me along and I was unable to ride for four months in 2010 - 2011. If not for all that she would be pushing 30K + miles. |

Posts: 9 Joplin, Mo | I would recommend keeping the 11. I had to get a 12 when I wrecked the 11. If you have 16 thou on it, you have it well broken in and are probably getting the better fuel mileage. You also won't have to mess with the 500 mile breakin again if you keep the 11.
The is more chrome on the 11, and the center headlight is different. If I had the choice would ride the 11 until is fell apart. I had 10,200 on it when it was totaled, and only have 3,000 on the 12. I really would love to have the 11 back and not have been wrecked, but that isn't an option for me.
Good luck on your decision. |

Well the kick stand, the right leg fairing cracked, the paint peeling in several places, most of my problem are not mechanical the are are with fit and finish all tho the belt wasn't line up right and the ABS brake failed. The light badges in the side both fell off. I am very picky about something i treat my bikes well but i ride alot. This vision is well made in the mechanical dept. but not so on the paint and finished work. |

Posts: 156 Bluff Park, Alabama - God's Country! 2011 PW VV | There is a thread on here about it somewhere. Basically they made a mid year change to that part. It is that annoying loud knocking in neutral. You can even feel it in the bars. I was told that Vic has never seen a kickstand bend on its own....That is BS. You look at it and it is physically smaller, less robust than earlier years. There are plenty of posts on '11 Kickstand issues!

| I am told there has been no change what-so-ever to the Victory Vision kickstand since the 08 was first introduced...I looked closely the other day at an 08 and 09 and they looked the same as the one on my 2011??? |
