Try disconnecting the battery ground (-) wire, count to thirty, the reconnect and see if that will solve the problem.

Along with what OldGringo said, you might want to pull the console, pull the connectors apart and put some dieletric grease and put them back together, making sure the connections click tight. I had a similar problem for a long time until I pulled the console off for something else. When I pulled the plugs apart they came apart easy. After everything was back together, no more problem.

Here's a link for some radio help on this form:
http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=2442&pos...

If that doesn't help you can send it to Radio Sound for repair here's there web link:
http://www.radiosound.com/customer_service.php

I recently traded some one on this form for a XM radio module that they said it was in working condition but it was not so I sent it to these guys and got a working unit for $125. Cheaper than buying a new one and made the best of a bad trade. Good Luck

I've disconnected the battery and now radio stations work and get on the screen but nothing comes out, this is the second radio I have this problem the first time the change as I said visioncomfort. Must be a problem of the internal circuit of the bike that breaks the radio and not to do, surely bring her into the official workshop here in Spain but I will have to change the radio say the other and 600 euros. do you think

We finally discovered that there is a problem with the radio, but the bike just because when you get to the shop to check on the radio will turn off the bike for a problem of bataria or electrical installation of the bike, now is in the shop trying to find out where the problem is, the truth is that when removing a terminal of the battery sparks flew, ie to ground or some kind of short in the system, someone has had a similar problem.
