| Over the last year it seems like Victory is only concerned with the cross country and cross tour. It would not suprise me if they stopped production of the vision. They have made no real upgrades or enhancements since its beginnings. I think it would be a mistake to stop producing the vision. It is the best touring bike I have ever owned in my 30+ years of riding. Great combo of comfort, performance, and style. There is nothing else like it on the road!
VICTORY IF YOU ARE LISTENING... KEEP THE VISION!!! |

Honda also stopped selling the Magna, after more than 10 years on the current generation, Honda said the market was saturated. But really what was happening was Honda was streamlining their production, cutting down on the number of platforms, and making the engines of their big cruisers universal.
Last time I checked the Vision sales numbers were still impressive. It would make more sense for Vic to drop some of the steel frame bikes before the Vision. Plus I highly doubt that Victory has any intention of letting go of the fix fearing touring market.
The Vision is here for the long haul. |

Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | I have a 1994 Magna. Great bike but scheduled maint. is a nightmare with valve inspection and adjustment. If you ride a lot, work a lot and have no free time, valve maint. and chain drive can be overwhelming! Just one of many reasons I love the Victorys. maint free valve arrangement. |

I rode my Vision to Texas Pride Barbecue last night for a friends Bachelor Party.
Wedding Rehearsal tonight and he will be married tomorrow........for the sixth time. Four divorces and widowed once. The lady he is marrying is a real keeper...maybe she can keep him in line. Its her first marriage.
Ride safe and marry well. |

| Nothing lasts forever and at 57 y.o. I am not sure if my vision will be my last bike or if I would as I currently feel buy a new vision in a couple of years. I would test ride whatever took my fancy then decide. If BMW put out a forward control tourer which was comfortable for my leg and hip problems I would test it. I do like big vee twins for character. I suppose after 2 years of vision ownership I am still happily in the honeymoon period. Previous bikes I was looking to change after 2 years. Be a nuisance for me if they stop making visions and take away the option of buying a new one. |

Posts: 154 Cabot Arkansas | I was talking about this rumor with a local dealer/owner just a couple of weeks ago,he laughed and told me the vision is Victory's 2nd best selling model right behind the cross country and it IS NOT going anywhere.I don't believe any company would discontinue their 2nd best selling product.I just traded my 09 vision for a 2012 so I'm good for at least another 100k miles when the NEW 100k mile tranny automatically self destructs |
