| I have a 2011 XR and today my right side leather bag blew off on the highway. Tore it up good! Anyone else have an issue like that? Are there any better clips to use to secure the bags than the quarter turn quick release? |

| I just removed one quick release bolt assembly for each side on the 2012 Cross Country Tour. Replaced assembly with a 5/16" U-nut and 5/16" stainless steel allen cap bolt. Parts obtained at Lowes or Home Depot for $7.00. Bags won't fall off now :-) |

If you had it serviced recently and the dealer removed the bag, ask the dealer to replace it. If the bags have never been removed, recall someone had their dealer file a claim with mother VIC for replacement. good luck! |

| Maybe so, but to me they look a whole lot nicer than those big ugly suitcases hanging off the rear of the XCT.....To each his own as they say!!! |
