Posts: 162 Extreme Southern, AZ United States | My bike has been having some problems lately and the dealer has been treating it as a fuel problem. In his defense it did not seem to be a mechanical problem. Anyway I was taking it back in to the dealer so they could have it for a couple of weeks while I am on the road for my job. I get almost to AZ Victory, pulled down the Speedway ramp off i10 and the tranny just went. I had to use 3d gear to get across the intersection. First one they had ever seen. Still completely covered by warranty. I ride hard but not tranny destroyng hard. We'll see in a couple of weeks. |

As far as the tranny, what happened when the tranny went, noise, no engagement, grinding? Bummer, I don't think you can really destroy a tranny unless you have a habit of shifting without the clutch. Let us know how things turn out. |

| My tranny went last fall. Took the dealer 3 months to get the parts and make the repairs. Mine let out a little grinding noise when I went to pass someone. I pulled over and then it wouldn't go any more, just grinding noise. That was with 16,300 miles. It was repaired under the extended warranty, except for the $50 deductible. Total bill was $3,665.97.. Good luck, and hope your repairs are faster than it took for mine. |

T That was what they werre goingto do when I brought it back in. When the tranney went, I heard a clunk (which I thought was a rock thrown up by another verhicle, I downshifted and when I got to second (I was stopped by then) I herad a griinding noise like a buncha rocks, and when I tried to go into first i thought I had lost the shift linkage, it just layed there. Tried to take off, there was no first, or second. I had to got to third to get going. by the time I got into the dealership, third also sounded like a box of rocks. |

Posts: 162 Extreme Southern, AZ United States | Well AZ victory has had my bike now for two weeks. They tore the tranny down and didn't find anytthing. They replaced a couple of things for giggles I guess, but when they put it all back together again, the tranny trouble is still with the bike. Now they have to tear the engine out and split the cases to find out what's wrong. Anyone have any ideas? Good thing I still have the TC. Guess I will have to put the faiiring and tour pack back on till I get the Vision back. Oh well. The TC is running excellent, so it could be worse. |
