My windshield has several cracks around the areas where the bolts go through it. I have never removed the shield. My question is would this be covered under the extended warranty to get a replacement shield? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

if it was the Victory warranty i might say yes. but the extended warranty im doubting it. they will find a reason to deny it. like its cosmetic/body work.

ps, I learned the hard way when i rode my bike 55 miles to a old dealer i used to go to for a defective rear rotor.. I found out right then and there the extended warranty does Not cover rotors.. and if i would have read the fine print of the extended warranty contract i would have saved my self the hassle... now i read the find print on the extended warranty with my 2011 vision

Doesn't much matter.....my bet is the windshield is a wear irremediable.

That aside....those small cracks shouldn't be a problem. My stock shield had quite a few as well.

My expectation is that they will say no. They would likely claim you cleaned it with chemicals that caused it to harden or something like that. Regardless - give it a shot. The worst they can do is to say no.
