Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | I'm apparently an idiot. I removed the trunk off my Vision to get some paint work done and then this weekend decided to clean out the garage and build myself a new workbench. It was a perfect weekend for the project with the storm rolling through what better way to pass the time. You can see where this is going right? Well somewhere along the way the 4 bolts that hold my trunk on are MIA. My guess is in the clean up they got tossed or swept up or something but in my "junk" bolt drawer in the tool box I can't find 4 large matching bolts so either all or some or missing.
Can someone post a picture or even better get me the proper size bolt so i can go buy some new ones... I would imagine the dealer could probably order them but knowing how long that takes I probably won't get them in time for my trip next week.
At least I got a new workspace out of it, the only thing occupying that space before was those 2 white cabinets and my tool box across the top:
Any help here would surely be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | FYI if anyone needs to know the bolts 8mm with a 1.25 Pitch and 30mm in length with a 15mm hex head (though that doesn't matter as much). Ace hardware seems to have them so I'm going to try that... |

Posts: 51 Arizona | LMAO! I did the same darn thing. They are in a well marked plastic baggy. Just can't seem to find the darn thing. Thanks for posting the size.
That will go on my list of things do buy at the hardware store. If I could just find my list! |
