Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Thanks okie, I might give these a try, but after reading the reviews I don't see anything above and beyond the E3s except the price. Air pressure around 41 psi seems to give me maximum performance and mileage on my E3s! |

Posts: 259 Land O Lakes, FL | I ran these tires on my Wing and they were awesome, I love a more aggressive profile (read better tip in) and as for smooth these are that and more. After riding on E3's (which are great too) I'll be putting these on.
That and .50 will get ya a soda...

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I'm good for tires at the moment, but I just may pop those on the next change. For the price I have nothing to lose, to include the ride. |

Posts: 499 Chattanooga, TN | Lots of people have these in stock online now, but nobody has them at this price! I've heard they have better tire life with less cupping, which is a problem for me. I'll be giving them a try, thanks for passing along the info! |

Posts: 222 Barefoot Bay, FL United States | IMHO, I hate the Dunlop, E3's. The front wears too much on both sides of the middle, giving the tire a feel like I'm riding on a railroad track. I'm talking a raised middle of 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch, that's only 3/4" wide!! I put an E2 back on the front for my previous tire, and got over 18k with it. I just had another E2 put on, and drove 3100 miles with it. Looks like a tire with only 500 miles on it. My rear tire (E3) has about 7500 miles, and is cupping so bad, it feels like it's coming off the rim at 25 mph. Major wobble at slow speeds, and a repeating 'growling' sound at faster speeds. I just ordered the Bridestone G704 that this thread is about, so hopefully it will last a little longer, and wear better. witchbiker |
