I couldn't figure out how to get the grab handles and the rear tip overs off, but I had everything else painted Midnight Cherry.

I hate computers! I'm going to tell it to attach a picture again. If it doesn't work the pics are in the gallery section

Looks Great.  Where did you get the paint from?

Now you get to paint the rims and rear pulley =).

I bought the paint from Freedom Powersports in Kennasaw, GA. Good folks. $99 for a quart of paint and a pint of activator.

This is how they should have been painted from the factory.

Looks great. The grab handles and tip overs done will be a HUGE difference too. Mine are in the gallery done. don't know how to post one here. Love the all one color idea. I did two tone. is that back rest into the factory seat?

Yes, it's a Utopia that I installed on the factory seat. Great product, really takes the comfort thing to a new level for me.

Looks great! Mine is black and I plan on doing the same. I also want to powder coat the rear tip over parts. If you don't mind me asking, who did the paint and how much $?

I went to a local, well regarded body shop and asked them to do it for me. They said no. They did however refer me to a guy that's a factory paint rep who enjoys painting bikes. I took all the parts off and gave them to him on a Friday afternoon, he painted them over the weekend and returned them Monday morning. $200 labor cost and I'm a happy camper.

excelboy10, Do you happen to have the part numbers for the cherry paint and activator? I think I'm ready to paint my gray parts cherry.

Beautiful!!! I did the same thing to mine, but mine is black. I did include the tip overs and handles, as well as the dash around the gauges. I also tinted the front turn signal lenses. Its in the gallery if you are curious. In truth, I really thought of buying the cherry and doing the same thing, but my dealer only had the black, so I opted for that instead of waiting. So my hats off to you!!

Taking off the handles is my next job. Was told by dealer to take off trunk, remove molding around lights and you can access the rear bolts. The front ones are visible inside the storage area.

Chrome is now available for the rear tip overs. Thats the way I will go.
