Tourer
Posts: 575 Spirit Lake IA "Birthplace of Victory Motorcycles" | Well, I have 15k on my bike. I've done all the service on it so far since my dealer is 1.5 hrs away. Planning to take it to get 15k service performed. How much can I expect to pay and what are the significant services performed?

Part of the 15,000 miler, but if I was to swear on it, my dealer didn't do it when I took it to them for the 15,000 mile servce. Dry and failed at around 38,000. Replaced it myself at 45,000 and then repacked it at 100,000 with no issues.

If there is no slop I bet they call them good. I have seen this issue over and over again with dirt bikes, mountain bikes, and street bikes. Suspension linkage is the same way. I grease all bearings I can get to when the bike is new. I always get longer life than those who do not.
