| Over the past 6-9 months my 2009 Victory Vision has been completely cutting out and coming back on in half a second. It happens at random. It isn't throwing any error codes. I have had it back to the dealership in Loxley, Alabama 4 times to fix the issue. They have checked all the grounds, and as a last ditch effort replaced the ignition switch. The problem is it doesn't do it all the time. It is impossible to reproduce. It hasn't done it in the past month. Today, it did it 3 times in 60 miles.
I am at a complete loss.
Any recommendations on where I can take it who might have a bit more experience?
I noticed Dothan, AL has a gold-certified Victory dealership.
Are they any good?
Does anyone have experience with a really good dealership or mechanic who might be able to solve this issue in Southern Alabama, Southern Mississippi, or North/Northeast Florida?

Posts: 174 Edmonton, AB | Do you know if they checked the connections at the battery terminals and on the main circuit breaker behind the battery. Other members have reported the bike shutting off from these two problems. If you do a search in the tech q&a section you will find a bunch of info similar to your problem. Here is one example...

Good luck and keep us posted on what you find. |

Do a search for him or for the dealership? Or pause for a moment and someone will fill in the blank.

Yup! My buddy replaced his on his '09 for $8 at the auto parts store. That's been over a year ago, no problems since. |
