With that said, does anyone have any recommendations as far as Bluetooth Helmet Headset that I can use for my iPhone (primarily for music, not phone use), Bike Radio, and a future Garmin GPS purchase? I have also looked into the Garmin GPS App for my iPhone that appears to have most everything the actual Garmin Zumo has but a world less expensive. Going to do the USA 4 Corners Ride next May, and need to add a few bells and whistles to my bike.
I know, I'm a "XCT" Owner, but hey we're all "VICTORY" Owners, right???????
Thanks

I use a Scala Rider G4 -- http://www.cardosystems.com/scala-rider/scala-rider-g4-powerset

It works well --- most of the time. I normally connect to my Android phone for music and GPS navigation via Google Maps and Google Navigation app. I get voice over music directions in the headset. I consider the phone an added benefit. Which does work good.
I set up play lists on the phone, start one running and ride.
FYI - this setup does NOT use the bike's on board radio.
I have had not been able to really test the intercom between riders or other bikers.
Pros - easy to connect and use. Phone works really well -- to the point I have people start conversations with "Are you on your bike?" Inexpensive compared to Garmin+phone+headset.
Cons - sometimes the Bluetooth drops out and I have to stop and reconnect the link. Sometimes (not often) I have to reset the G4 by plugging it into a usb charger. Maybe I have a defective device.??
Also, I recently set up a RAM X-mount on the handlebars for my phone. Works nice. I can see the GPS screen and change music if needed.
