Anyone running Gatlin tips along with the Victory Stage1 kit?? Heard a bike with these tips on stock mufflers with the center hole cut out and they sounded great...I don't want to spend money if these tips are not worth it , and do not want to screw up the fuel mix and have the bike start "popping" ect...If you have these tips with the S1L1 kit and you like it....please let me know your opinions.......

Gatlin tips are straight threw. There covers that bolt onto the end of your muffler replacing your end cap that you have now.
Popping comes from mufflers other then stock.
It dose not screw up your fuel mixture.

Agreed. The tips are just decorative and have no affect on the tuning. You could even leave the tips off altogether with no affect on tuning. The actual muffler is hidden by the tips and not affected one way or the other by them. Any tuning changes are caused by changing from the stock mufflers to something else, or by modifying the stock muffler.

Adding the Gatlin tips to my bike changed neither the sound nor the performance. They just look better.
