Posts: 162 Extreme Southern, AZ United States | Well....after breaking my 2009 Victory (the #2 shift fork broke into 3 pieces) I (and my wife) was worried that when I got it back after having the cases split, and the engine removed from the frame, etc, that I would have problems like leaking seals, electrical problems with connectors etc, and we decided to cut our losses and buy a new Vision. It was not because I thought the dealer would not handle problems, but I didnt want the hassles as I ride a lot of long distance miles and did not want to worry about things malfunctioning. I ordered the Black Tour Premium with thunderheader pipes and some other enhancements to include a new trailer hitch. I didn't get what I thought I would get as a tradein because I have over 30K on the bike. I think I still got a good deal with 18K out the door. Won't have it for a couple of weeks as neither Tucson nor Phoenix has any Black Visions in stock. I have been without the Vision now for over three months so it won't be too much of a burden. I still have my TC and my Harley. Still I can't wait. |

I always find myself wondering if my wheels are going to pass me going down the highway. I know all the arguments, faulty humans build the new machines also, and new things also break, but there just isn't any point to a ride if it isn't fun and comfortable. |

Just curious...can't find a #2 shift fork, maybe it was one of the two #1's in the diagram or #4 ? ?
