Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | I seem to be unable to locate my sheetrock post. I wish I had kept it now. If anyone knows how to retrieve it then it would be appreciated.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Jes, Jes, Hello, my name is Pollolittle and I am a sheethead! Once upon a time I had a relationship with some sheetrock and wrote a glorifying tale of ups and downs, pain of many nails, and copious amounts of white powdery substances. It was tough dealing with the relationship, it shoved me into the dirt, stripped away some life out of my undershorts! I had made mention to a fellow biker of the ordeal and thought i would try and locate the Great Tale to no success. Of course, I didn't copy it down, so it has apparently made its way into electrons hall of bye bye.
Webmaster, if you happen to know the locations of said Tales please enlighten! |

Posts: 174 Edmonton, AB | Hey Po....I don't know how to find the thread but I still smile when I think about it. That was way back in the early days for this group when Buckeye was a regular poster. I thought about the sheetrock encounter recently when you joked in another thread about the time you wife dropped the bike in the garage but the tip overs didn't quite catch it in time.
I can still remember the excitement of us first year owners as the bikes started to arrive for those lucky first few to get them. Thanks for the blast from the past. |

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Your welcome! Here to comply with the needs of others! Jes, the next request was going to be for that story also. Unable to find it either. I was going to copy them and save them for future reading, I may have to make a scrapbook.
Unfortunately, the owners of the site, have not annied up any info as to where in the electron black hole the story may have slipped to. Those two posts would be neat to hang on to. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | po - I did some expert googlin' and couldn't find it. I hate to rat out on the VR but that means that the data, server is not internet facing. Unless VR has it somewhere archived and they can send it to you or restore it to the site, it be GONE!! BTW, it looks like everything about mid 2008 and before is gone as well. That's why I made my assessment. It also proves the internet is not a permenant record.

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Yep, that is kinda what I have come up with, it is a shame it was one of my better works of art in writing. So was the other story, written in the heat of passion, it would be hard to replicate such a story so many years removed. I think it would sound more like a fish tale.
Hopefully, one of the guys who administer the site will chime in and let us in on the whodunits! |
