They didnt axe the Vision for 2013, I just bought one last month. Which I must say I like much better than the 2011 Cross Country that I traded in. |

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | I am amazed that some people would think the Vision is dead. I would love to take bets with anyone on this. Victory will NEVER kill their frame mounted fairing touring bike. All serious touring bikes have frame mounted fairings like the Harley Road Glide which is now most dealers best selling model, the Honda Gold Wing and all the BMW touring bikes. Sales on the Vision are strong, my dealer sold three of them last week alone. Victory knows well their most loyal owners are Vision owners. There will be updates to the 2014 Vision but if you don't own one I wouldn't let that keep you from enjoying this awesome bike today. |

Can you imagine how many visions they would sell to us "08/09" owners alone if they fixed the few major
shortcomings we've identified. (bigger side bags, led lighting, headlight, mirrors, etc...)

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | Get ready to buy a new Vision next year nailer! Victory knows what needs to be done to the Vision to make the best much better and they have been working on the next generation Vision for a few years. I've been told by someone in the know to get my check book ready. I don't think we will be disappointed in any way. That being said if I didn't have a Vision to ride today I wouldn't wait any longer and would buy one right now. Life is too short and today is the only thing for sure. I have had friends that talked about getting their dream bike to ride only to wait and have something happen to them to keep them from realizing that dream. "Carpe diem" - Seize the day! |

Posts: 457 Green Bay, WI United States | I love both of my Victories. They each have a different purpose but both fulfill each desire. Kinda like having two girlfriends and cannot pick so you keep them both, but not in the same garage ;-). The other gets an attitude every time I leave with the other, "HOTROD" threw her back brake pads to let me know she was not happy. Hope if and when they introduce another Vision they make the saddle bags as big as my TCD or close!!!! No other wants or needs for the Vision other than to ride the hell out of it, over 26,000 now - not all my mileage but headed to Tomahawk and will be "standing on it during the parade sideways at any speed"....... |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Visited my local Victory dealership today and he had all the new bikes on the floor except the Judge and a Vision. I asked him why no Vision and he said there is not enough call for that kind of touring bike around here. I proceed to ask him "Are you crazy?". Of course he sells Kawasaki too and he had plenty of their touring bike on the floor! |

Posts: 19 Harbor Springs Michigan | You can never tell what may go on next, however, that sounds as if it would come from a HD owner that HOPES it would die. They can not get it out of their backwoods mind that there is a better ride out there than their old and archaic tube frame scooter. Akin to something I like to call as Vision Phobia. Which are those that hate nicer things than they got.. Just sayin.. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | you're right, we can never tell what may go next. The Vision has carved out it's own niche, period!! It is not a BMW, Gold Wing, Road Glide, or Ultra Classic, it is a Vision. While people may know it is the most comfortable ride out there, they can't ride with their "buddies" for the most part. Sure, there are a lot can and does, without issue, mix and match and have fun "riding". However, the Cross Country even has Victory lying and saying it is the most comfortable bike on the market - listen to the video again. So, what is everyone afraid of with the Vision? The Vision is the foundation for the Cross Bikes, it is the Core Concept. They did the Vision first using this concept, and the concept proved sucessful. Now they move it down to the baggers and push them like crazy. I don't think in the long term that Victory could care less about the fixed faring, as long as it has a faring.
Victory will not tell us from one year to the next what the Vision is doing unless there is a radical change. But you know what? Not everyone will like the change. I won't pre-judge, but you can't make the bags bigger unless there a redesign and they have to be extra careful in doing that. I believe the Vision current design is key to it's over the top handling. It's a wind tunnel bike with an art deco design, that's what makes it unique. Change that, you change a lot of other things also. While Harley Davidson touts that they are the "motorcycle", it is a sure thing that there is nothing like a Vision on so many different levels. So it's easy for me to say, "if you don't ride a Vision, then you must just ride a motorcycle."
But I digress, we do not know what goes on in coorporate Polaris/Victory. They are going to stay the vain of what sells, year to year. I expect to see many more models come and go. The Cross bikes seems to be the hot combos right now, from shiny yeppie bike, to bad-boy bike, and radical changes year by year. They're on a roll, while I can expect a change to the Vision platform, it just won't be a Vision, maybe a Vision II, or a Spectra, or maybe a Bentley - VE (VaRyder Edition) |

The 2009 had 59,090 miles on it it & the only problem I ever had was the stator went bad this spring & my dealer covered it under the polarisstar warranty. Now let the modifications begin!!! I will agree with Varyder "if you don't ride a Vision, then you must just ride a motorcycle."
